War of the shadows, factions and where you stand

I not sure if most of you are aware of this, but this war of the shadows event ..will be lasting long into the summer months, its going to be a long one and a very big one..
there are things coming to this event that will have factions playing a very large role.
major rewards are going to be givin to those who fight in the factions...with or against the evil factions, there are going to be rewards and roles of the basic healers can become a part of, also rewards and roles for thiefs so no one will be left with a lack of a place to stand within a faction....As it stands now! the only major difference from being in a faction as opposed to not being in one, are the benificial acts while in tram...anyone not in your faction, cannot heal or rez or cure you..you would have to rely on those that are in your faction to do so......with that said ..there also making changes and discussing changes to the faction system, i am keeping a close eye on this and will let everyone know of all changes that i can in this forum....OK...why were here...

Would you be at all interested in joining a faction for this event when it comes time to make a choice if certain changes are made to them?...
what are your concerns about factions??..i would really like to hear from everyone about this if i can...

Well you already know where i stand...i actually didnt think to discuss it with kt wich i shall this morning, but you also forgot to mention that when you mean join, you mean for the guild to join (unless your thoughts on this have changed since last night?) if im mistaken then oops if not then its good of me to have noted it ^^. my only concern with factions has been the role they play in tram, its a serious downer for times when no one is on, specially during event times altho it may change with more people joining factions to be on the event, so with that said im up for any faction alliance even if they dont change the system Smile

no i havnt changed what i was thinking, i forgot to mention that..if infact everyone is all for joining a faction for the event, we will all go into it as a guild together, but also i dont want to push anyone into joining a faction if they dont want to..so we need to hear all concerns about this

I'm kewl with joining factions however it may be. I got self rez on my main chars I use and I hunt alone and Aura is usually on the same time I am. So whatever you wanna do. But I will put my vote into being a good guy...lol. *cough* true brits . But nothing is set in stone. I'm all for C!C becoming a factions guild...would prefer to be on the good side though.

I personally havnt been in factions in years, so I have no qualms with going in as a guild.

Yeah so call me a bit slow but ive not been on for a while i have no idea about the faction things i dont know how it works or what not or what all it involves so i d k i guess

factions are just another way of saying..disney land..sit backand enjoy the rides??..lol

EDIT: Another thing you guys should know, all factions are "good" it is just a representation of different governments. For instance, the Shadowlords wanted to help us defeat the Demons!

By good he ment not evil, or rather virtuous, the shadow lords are anti virtuous so...no they are not all good :-p when u consider all the things happening right now inside UO you can imagine the kinds of things the shadow lord faction will represent considering the actual shadow lords are here and running rampant on sosaria =)

Well from everything I've read about Factions and considering what's going on with the War, I am in for joining a Faction. We will obviously need to further discuss this as a Guild and together decide which faction we are to join.. My first instinct was to be evil and cause chaos at every turn (muhhaahaa) but I'm in for anything !!!! Twisted Evil

My position on this is death. Ok heres my point I die frequently. Im gonna die if im in a faction or not. But honestly i think im all for it because i like to experience new things with this game. Ive only been on for 6 months and I often stick my magebook in places i have no buisness just because I'm that kind of curious. So yes im all for factions and yes im prepared to die....alot. O and pass it along to Nex that i posted this :-)

that is all on a need to know basis...there is nothing to see there...its only a weather balloon.
he ate mushrooms and saw the weather balloon..and with the light shining down onto his face at that exact moment..
it made things look that way.......nothing to see here

the moonglow rift is gone..Andrew the servent of the shadowlords has set up shop in his own spot within the etheral void..his plan?, recruiting servents for the shadowlords..his gift to you for agreeing to serve? a rare one time use glass dagger...( use this dagger on anything and it will break)..
stand still in the very spot the moongate was in moonglow, and he will teleport ya to him when he is finished his lunch.
1 time interview per char, use some crap chars to get some daggers.......not agreeing to serve will result in...well, he will let ya know about that....
